making it interesting with texture

Bryanna

This Resurrection Sunday, I wore black. I know, not the typical Resurrection Sunday/Easter, springy color palette that is expected but I didn’t feel like buying anything new and all the other options in my closet I wasn’t into. This is funny because I don’t wear all black often. I don’t even wear black clothing that much especially during this time of year, but sometimes you just need to wear what’s in your closet. This is how I ended up wearing all black on Resurrection Sunday and honestly LOVED my outfit.

Sometimes, I just feel more comfortable wearing what’s already in my closet.

One of my favorite style tips when wearing a monochromatic outfit, especially one that is black, is making sure the pieces are different textures. My vest was linen, my skirt was satin, & my heels were suede. I dressed it up even more with some dainty gold jewelry, and I was good to go. Simple yet effective. That’s really my motto when it comes to getting dressed. I like to look like I didn’t try too hard but that I did put in effort.
