the petite and curvy ladies need jeans too

To know me is to know that I absolutely LOVE wearing jeans. I don’t care how hot or cold it is outside, one thing I will always wear are some jeans. I will never stop emphasizing how much I jeans on this blog because it’s just the truth. You really can’t go wrong wearing a nice pair of jeans. They’re perfect for a night out, running errands (yes), brunch, the office, etc. They’re so versatile, which is why I love them so much.

With that being said, sometimes it can be difficult to find the right pair of jeans, especially multiple pairs of GOOD jeans. I’m super short (5 ‘0) and also very curvy, carrying most of my weight in the bottom half of my body, so I am smaller in the torso area. All of these factors make finding good jeans a bit more tedious but definitely not difficult. This wasn’t always the case, as I used to have a really hard time years ago finding jeans where I actually love or even like the fit before alterations. I’m also very much a proponent of getting your jeans altered, especially if you’re short and curvy like me. However, alterations can be expensive to constantly get done. I truly cannot wait for the day where I can do that with all of my pants.

To make the process of locating jeans a lot more seamless, I stick to some of my favorite brands. This has helped me sooooo much in having a decent collection of jeans, especially essential styles. Currently, Abercrombie & Fitch is my FAVORITE brand to buy jeans from. Their brand has made such a comeback, and they have me in a chokehold. They have so many different styles AND lengths. I always purchase my jeans in their “short” length. They are also affordable and constantly have sales. I would recommend subscribing so you never miss out.

My other favorite brand for jeans is ASOS, which also carries petite sizes and a variety of styles. Some other brands I’ve begun looking into are Banana Republic, Madewell, MANGO, ZARA, and Agolde. Buying the cropped length of some jeans is also another method I use when purchasing regular length jeans so mine aren’t dragging on the floor.

I’ve linked some pairs below that you can hopefully add to your collection. xo
